*Sigh* Earlier today I was anticipating playing a few games on my brand new duo2SE chip. Took from 1-8pm to get the thing in after 1.taking it apart trying to get the board just by itself and finally realizing that it seems to be completely stuck to the other board underneath 2. getting a big glob of solder inbetween few of the chip legs and having one hell of a time trying to get it out, never actually GETTING it out and having a leg fall off 3. pondering up a way to attach the leg back, or rather crafting a new replacement leg out of wire 4. making ANOTHER glob on the same chip at a different area and taking out most of it(not as much a problem as the other).
Finally after it was all put together I was very very skeptical about its working condition. Plugged it in, light turned red. I smile. Press reset button, screen flickers are **** goes on like normal. I sit there, at an eternal black screen.

I came to the conclusion I had spent 7 hours doing something which was the equivalent of throwing my ps2 out the window, burning $40 and sleeping for a 7 hour period.
By the way, it wasnt me doing all of it. My dad who is great with amps and stuff(music... ya know) tried to do it for the first 4 wires, then messed up. Turns out Im better than him at soldering

.
Point being/Lesson learned. Even if your skilled at something, dont go into a different area thinking it will be 'easy' or it will just **** on your face like a big glob of hot solder.
This was my rant, thanks for listening
