Hello Guys!
I have the original german version of NFSU2 and I try to play the game with new patches (version 1.4 from
www.nfs-planet.de) and with all no_cd or fixed.exe 's I found but it doesn't works fine.
The game starts without the "ea games logo" and then I know that it won't work.
For all guys: Download the newest alcohol 120 version!
(1.9.2. 1705) and make a image of cd 2!
(general protected disk, skip reading errors, sub channel on)
If you make it good,the creaation of the image is done in 50minutes.
Then burn the image to a cd.Use the standards in alcohol!
Don't patch the game!Use the original speed.exe and let the cd in your drive!
If you see the "ea games logo" your game will be worked perfectly!
