Although I don't have an answer as to how to fix it, I can tell you why the IP.BIN disappears when you make a self-boot. You don't copy the IP.BIN to the data directory, but rather keep in the selfboot directory. Since it's not in the data directory and that's where mkisofs.exe gets the data from, it would obviously be missing. I wonder what would happen if you leave that IP.BIN in the data directory (unpatched for selfboot). Wonder if that would FUBAR the selfboot if you still copied it to the SELFBOOT directory and patched it and followed the rest of the instructions, but you just didn't delete the file from SELFBOOT\DATA ... Inquiring minds want to know.
