There is no need to Rip the movie to the hard drive. The only reason to do this is if you are going to edit the movie or change the content. In that case you will have to convert the movie to an .AVI file anyhow, But, if all you are doing is copying the movie, CloneDVD does a great job. I have copied over 200 movies without errors. LOTR's had a 58% reduction, the overall video quality still looks very good. Just let the program do it's job. Have fun... Keep'em burning...
