The Metal Gear Solid series has never ended on a To Be Continued screen. Yes, Hideo tries to setup a sequal after the credits roll ("Yes, Mr President" or "...Over 100 Years ago"
) , but its pretty clear the game has finished when you actually get to kill the final boss. From what I can gather, HALO 2 has no ending like this
