Riteks I would say would be the best brand media to get. However it seems that they've changed their dye for their dvdrs. The G05 have mixed results from people, some say it works fine, others say it doesn't.... I have yet to test them on my ps2, should be back in a week or so (Thanks spedmetal!). The G04 is probably one of the best media around. Another brand which people are claiming is good is Taiyo Yuden. You can order these online from meritline.com or rima.com. Meritline though is supposedly selling crap dye dvdr media. So for the moment buying from them isn't the best idea.
Try out the Taiyo Yuden media, it's supposed to be very good media and is being recommended by many people.
