i was just wondering if there is a new version of the media check - i.e. requiring me to have a bios above X2 4977 -

i ask because some i am unable to back up bloodrayne 2 or kingdom under fire

i never had a problem before - i am using the old matrix 256 chip and a version 1.0 xbox and i have made about 20 fully working back ups of games like burnout 3 and ninja gaiden - but it seems that recently the newer games do not work -i.e. i get to the xbox start screen and it says xecuter 2 but then the disk does not load -

any tips are helpful - i think it might be a problem with my burner but i would like to know before i shell out the money for a new one
