Ok all you have to do to get the Sims 2 to work without the cd all you need to do is:
1.Install the sims 2.
2.Download Daemon Tools 3.47
3.Download the Sims 2 CD Image from
http://www.freewebs.com/keepitlegit/Downloads.html
4.Make sure all options and emulation or not ticked
5.Have the set number of devices to 1
6.Mount the extracted file.
7.Just Run the Game!!!
