hmm im a german too, but i think here you have too speak only in english.
The big dvd's (more then 4,7 GB) you can only "use" with dual-layer-dvd-burners. You can read about it in many threads here.
the 1.05 patch is for me good enough to play and fixes the most bugs and crashes and therefore you can find a good working patch inside the big big GCW!
