I also ordered an HDLoader disc from consolesource and got it really fast. The box and the instructions booket look perfectly legit, but when booting up the CD, sure enough, I get a FREE HDLoader logo, with ps2ownz web site at the bottom of the screen. But the disc is pressed (silver bottom) and boots perfectly on my un-modded PS2 (39001). Pretty impressive so far, installed 4 games and only one refused to work (with all 8 different settings), Mad Maestro NTSC/US.
Anyone ever tried this one? It's not on any list of incompatible games I've seen. I hope the "FREE" ($29.99)
version of HDLoader can run all the same games that the "not-free" version can.
