all chips are basically the same. Or have the same result.

The only difference is the flash chip size, or any other features that you could live without (like lcd display, onboard os's)

Almost all bios can be split to 256k, the only ones that can't have imbedded files or dll's (there is only 1...that is was a beta. It had built in FTP, which everyone uses software for).


x2 has a 1mb flash, the doux probably has a 256. Either case, you will probably be using the same bios for each chip, which more than likely, can be split. The only major difference other than flash size is installation.. No solder, solder, or pin headers (all go to the same points on the mobo)
