Problems backing up dvds

I am trying to make a backup of my dragonball z dvd using dvd shrink. First, I tried using dvd shrink, but it said that it was unable to read it. So, I used dvd decrypter to put on my hd. The image went fine. But now when I try to compress the dvd with shrink it get to 100% and says, "Out of memory, the perameter is incorrect". What does this mean exactly? also, how do I go about fixing this problem or what programs can I use instead of dvd shrink. My burner is a pioneer 107d and my OS is XP. Everything is fine on my HD as well.

I also am having problems backing up a couple others in my library all of these will not read straight off of the dvd, so I have done the same as with my dragonball z one:

The Punisher and Pitch Black (new version)- using dvd decrypter. Then used shrink, starts to encode to 1% and preview screen stays black for a few seconds and says, "programming error- exception occured"

Jason X-Using dvd decrypter. Then used shrink to open file and says, "failed to open file C:\dvdfiles\jason_X\video_TS.IFO The system cannot find the file specified.

If anyone has time to answer my questions, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
