I’ve cleaned a few stations that stopped working altogether after they used lens cleaners. Just look how the lasers are built, the black cover is just right for collecting the dust off those brushes and dropping it down inside the sled assembly, not a good place to be moving dust to.
I’ve had some pretty filthy stations show up here! The drive in my own station has been sealed from airflow so it’s always clean.
