Regular use of a laser cleaner will not prevent dust problems and my eventually damage your laser and here is why. Laser cleaners do not clean dust from your PS2, they redistribute dust in potentially worse areas. It might work in the short term but in the long run it will push enough dirt under your lens cover to require laser disassembly. You think dust on top of your laser lens is a problem, wait until those little brushes push dirt inside your laser. So when your cleaner stops fixing your problem, you will know you now have a big problem.
