Well, I remember this was a common problem with evox, but I thought they fixed it with newer version. If you are using evox, try another app like avalaunch or media-x-menu.
I cannot help with nero, since it seemed to have worked for me with crazy taxi. You may need to change some settings around or play with it to get it to work.
