While having the warranty seal intact is a good selling point, you could take it apart and try disconnecting the battery to reset the memory. Possibly there is a way to do this without taking it apart but I can’t remember. I know I’ve done it a couple times before and after a reset you get the small PS logo and it goes straight into the setup, something like that, it’s been a wile and my memory’s not to good. Also posting the model number is very important (SCPH 3000X or 3900X…) 3000X battery is easy to get as it’s on the side of the CD drive where the newer ones are on the mobo requiring complete disassembly.

Maybe better just to sell it and again, post the Model #, that’s my major peeve with ebay parts systems. Most people don’t realize how important posting the model # is.
