No you didnt do anything wrong. Its just a good idea to check out our forum rules. Its just that with the way things are in some countries we must be fairly strict with our rules as to not do any illegalalities in this site.
The "Stickies" are on the top of the PS2 Forums. The Ultimate Info Sticky is a good one for beginners to catch up on pretty much all there is to know on the PS2.
