I thought u mean the 7zip utility for ramdepacking when in use.
Its a nice tool to save space and as this tool includes all nessesayry stuff to depack the file on the fly its not the the prob anymore.
Btw the best compression on the files is uharcing them with multimedia mode, it saves you another 5 or 6 mb to ul but there will be some guys bringing it to gcw anyway. The ain prob of course is SF monitors gcw too
and will change protection in the next patch then. But in my eyes patch cracking shouldnt be done as cracksa re fore testing purpose. DL a patch means u want to play through the game and then the one that wants this should buy the game anyway as then its worth the money. Dont tell me all here have original and only want the crack to prevent the orig CD to be broken. I have over 200 Games bought in the last 3 years and no CD yet got a single prob. If they bought it for money im sure they are skilled enough to save a CD from getting defect
SF3 is intresting but rumors say SF4 will be something like SF3 with addional Dongle Stuff or online Activasion which has already started.
To much ppl get the cracks yet so noone seems to try to learn more about the protection, neither in the scene or on public boards. You can count the ppl that are intrested in increasing skills to crack a protection but you cant count the ppl that cry for a crack the day a game goes store. :=)
Prolly thatswhy it takes ages to crack it. The more ppl increase their skills the faster you see cracks rising. And crackers will have a rl and search a job later and then what are they best in? Of course in developing a protection that disables their own and friends way to crack :=)
So as soon more ppl start trying beside crying its better as every newone has new ideas how to handle a prrotection. There are enough tutorials in the webs about sf3 vm opcode breaking and so on: check forums use google or just do a look at
