Well now what have i stumbled into here.
Since you already have a PC, we wont discuss that one......

Being the CraZyGaMeloVer I am, I have not limited myself to just one console opinion cause those so called "Exclusives" are sometimes great games. Although this is definitely extreme in recommendations,
I recommend starting with the PS2 only because it has so many great games and more to chose from than the other consoles. (this one will keep you busy for a while, collecting games)

Then invest in the Xbox as it does have a great many exclusive games that simply must be played if youre an extreme gamer like myself.

Then go for a Gamecube as a 3rd choice cause its ok but very limited as nintendo fell behind on the game production aspect.

PS1, Sega Dreamcast, Atari, and the other consoles from years past are pretty much left in the past but they did have some fun games as well.

Sometimes you can find a good deal on a game in garage sales and by not limiting yourself as a gamer, you can always take advantage of those $5 to $20 used oldies, especially since most new games are rediculously expesive. Not to mention to the ability to play them, regardless of what type console is needed to play them.
