Yes, the Xenium OS HDD Upgrade Wizard thingie works perfectly. I upgraded from stock HDD to a 160gig using it with absolutely zero problems.

Essentially, you open the xbox, and replace the DVD drive with your new harddrive. Real simple. You'll obviously need the Torx screws to open up the system, an Internal Power Supply cable splitter (I got mine for about $5 from Best Buy, used it and returned it later for a full refund, hehe), and about 15 minutes of time. You change the jumper settings on the stock harddrive, split the power it's receiving, send the power to the new harddrive, and remove the IDE cable from the DVD drive to give it to the new harddrive.

Once you do that, turn on the xbox, select the HDD Upgrade Wizard, and let it do it's thing for about 10 minutes.

After it's done, remove the splitter, remove the old harddrive, reconnect the DVD drive, and connect the new harddrive where the old one was previously.
