Now I cant play burned games so I tried to use my good old evox boot disk and it keeps telling me that it is dirty or damaged. Can someone tell me would the update have overwritten my chips bios or should i try somthing else? I have made 3 evox boot disks all different versions and still cannot get into the files with flash fxp because I cannot set up the ip please help me figure out what is wrong!!

Hi,
My friend just ran into a simliar problem last night, as hit live by accident when he booted Rainbow 6. However, he could still boot Unleashx and other dashes, but not the original Microsoft dash. He took of Unleash and the other dashes so he could test the Microsoft original (MSxboxdash.xbe), renamed it back to Xboxdash.xbe, re-booted, and got the Error 21 message. Somehow it corrupted the dash and other files within the c:\ partition.
Lucky enough he had a backup of his C:\ partition, which he copied back over and everything was fine. Can you still access evox when you boot the xbox, etc?. The only suggestion is to try the Mapped drive procedure in Win XP if you have it and edit things that way if you cannot use your boot disc and flashfxp. That is if, you can still access evox to get the IP of your xbox. Here is the link, and it only takes a minute to do.

By the way. it wouldnt have updated your bios when you hit live.
