Nope, actually, most DOS games are easier to crack than most Windows games...
Back then, there were a couple of _very_ nasty custom protections for DOS games but I have the feeling (no, I could never crack any of them!
) that they were a lot less sophisticated than today's commercial protections for Windows games...
