And also i have no problems to make an Image of a Disc what is Starforce protected.. Strange, because i read a lot of problems in this forums about making backups..
I could not tell why they all works on my PC, but i am happy that so it is

well i had the same 8x drive as you have but i sold it in 1997 or 1998 or so , i thought i would not need it anymore and now you see
however i still have an slow 4x cdrom will try some tricks. otherwise i will buy a Toshiba drive,lots of people have mentioned that sf3 backups works on that drive
