One of my boys got mad at his brother and took one of his favorite games (GTA vice city) and scratched it up so bad it looked like he used something metal. Well needless to say it didnt work anymore. I left it be for a very long time to teach them a lesson. One day my son asked me to fix it and Wahla it was like new again. They never did it again and still works perfectly... Test it if you like, take a burned disk and scratch it up (dont get too carried away as my boys were only 6 & 7 back then), then buff it til all of the scraches are gone. You will be amazed how well it works... Even TD will tell you that car polish works on mildly scratched games. You can even use Quall999's method with toothpaste on the buffer and it will work. Anyway, I thought it was pretty sweet as opposed to buying a disk doctor. BTW they are expensive and dont work as well as the buffer. Happy gaming and let us know how you make out.
