realy can't tell you excatly what's the problem. Do know there excist dvd versions of True Crime. Don't the dvd structurs.
A theory is it knows where you install it from. If you installing from a DVD it knows it and checking if the label of the DVD is right if it isn't it ask for disc 2. And if you installing from harddriver it feels it 2.
It's easy to get on the installer, but harder to explain...
