Okay, so check what protectionid says. I'm going to assume it says something like "Safedisc 2", because that's what most Microsoft games seem to use. If it does, you have to use the "Image Making Wizard" option in A120%, and select Safedisc 2/3 from the dropdown box on the low left of the dialog box. Next, it's important that you change the drop down box next to "Read Speed" (upper right of the dialog) to the lowest possible setting, like "1X". This is the whole trick : every time you install the game, the cd reader drive will use maximum speed while trying to read it, but the lower the speed, the more chance you can still read a bad part. So we're going to make an image while reading at the slowest speed possible.

Now safedisc 2/3 discs will generate a bunch of errors in the first few percentages of the disc. This is normal. It's also normal that these first few percentages will be read VERY slowly, as the drive is constantly trying to reread the bad sectors. Just let it continue, even when it takes hours and hours. You'll only have to do this once and it will speed up after a while.

Provided that you can make an image this way, you now have to test it with the virtual cdrom function of A120% to see if you can install with it.

Lemme know what results you got.
