Create a boot disk.
Then insert the disk and restart the pc
Let the flopppy disk load up and run boot my computer with cd rom support.
This will load ms dos
type in
formay c:
then y for yes.
Once its formated Insert your windows 98 cd and input D:\setup.exe
this will then check the hdd for errors then install windows 98
