Also, I have a Maxtor 30G ATA100/7200 HD in my Xbox, and I am unable to lock it. Most of you already know that means I can't turn my modchip off. I am unable to even play RSC2, even from the DVD, without it telling me there is something wrong with the disc. I'm wondering if this is a game that has the protection that looks for the MS Dashboard or whatever, and the fact that I can't turn my modchip off is why this game won't play.

I have just got hold of a backup of Rallisport 2,on two DVD's..I have had the same problem I kept getting a "Disk Damaged or Dirty Error Message"
I have found out that starting with the latest 007 release there is some form of protection on the DVD's..??? I have slayers Auto evox installer installed on my xbox,which includes a Tool called Enigma Video switch(This allows switching between NTSC/PAL Output's).. I found that the first time I played Rallisport2 my xbox was set to PAL(Region),I palyed a few levels and the got the error message..I decided to switch my region to NTSC(using The Enigma tool)I think Region-X does the same thing.. The game now runs great...No error messages..
I am told that this procedure will bypass the protection now applied to releases..
Please feel free to correct me if what I have posted is a load of crap
..!! I'm a newbie...starting on that big learning curve...
