Please understand that I too have been through the ps1 days. But I have old memorex cdr's that required replacing as well as ps1 lasers. If the proof you require demands that someone take a cosole to your house and spend the entire lifetime of the cosole with and without crap media then dont expect anyone to be in a hurry to do so.
