the same could be said for clone cd,, its still one of the best copying programs available.
its just not set up to be as easily used as alchohol.
and just because you make a backup dont mean the copy protection got copied 100% and in most cases the copy protection isnt copied, its only false copied. that why it asks for a cd.
also most people dont burn images properly like safedisk and secure rom, so your still stuck with a non working backup.
my only thought is why hasnt someone devised a copying software that copies the cd bit by bit by bit,, every single 10110011010111010 and so one.
that in theory should produce a true copy since it aligns each 1 and 0 to a sector on the cd.
but also certain cd's contain signatures that simply cant be copied or not copied that easily.
one would assume that by reading ever 1 and 1 and associating those 1's and 0's with a sector on the cd that a true copy would be produced,, but alas im not a programmer and i only speculate.
