If you went to the web site youd know the standard or pro codec is all you need if you already have a program that will incode video from your choise of codec's and choose the one you get there (if you need such a program I know there are a few free choisees I dont relly witch is the best I use DR Divx)
(I know you probubley already have the codec from the site if your playing divx's on your computer)
some divx's on the internet where incodeed ether from differint codecs or old versons of this one that whernt rely good you have to reincode them to play in the divx player
You dont relly need Dr divx but its nice its a program that will incode divx video onley
