i think the guy is trying to take the piss out of u to be honest!
you can flash the bios yourself through evox and installing a xbox hard drive is really easy to do if u have no computer experience so if u have some u will have no problems
remember to check the xbox hard drive page
here so that u get yourself a drive that is lockable if u want to use xbox lame (oops i mean xbox live lol)
also remember that xbox-scene is a godsend when it comes to xbox info
