First, use Clony XXL to scan it for the Protection. Or if that does not work then download Protection ID which you can get here
then it would be easier to back it up to your HDD. But, then you need Alcohol 120% which costs $50.

P.S. Make a post and check the PC Games section for tips/freeware to help you back it up.
