So what was the problem you had with COM1, and now that it connects, what speed do you have TeraTerm set at?
It might all be a little easier if you find yourself the
dreamrip script for TT which helps automate some of the process (plus it lets you skip over tracks on the GD-ROM in case you have to restart an incomplete rip)...
