True...very true. I had a guy that purchased a V9 online bundle from eBay and he had the buyer mail it to me. This thing was suppose to be brand new/unopened. Little did the seller know that he was sending it to some one that knows what an opened PS2 looks like. It worked and everything was fine with it, but this shows that you just never really know.

Also you would be very lucky to find a V7 even if it was an online bundle. Here in Cali I haven’t seen V7's on the shelves in over 6 months, and all the online bundles are V9's as well. Best Buy is the best place to be able to see what version you are getting, at least it is here. As for the color of the V9, V10 online bundles box, it is a normal blue box with a black poster board sleeve that covers the blue box. I can’t remember what the V7 online bundle looked like, I thought it was the same but I could be wrong.
