There seems to be some confusion about the warez/cracking scene and it's motivations so I will attempt to clear these points up.
Rips, ISOs, clones and cracks will be made regardless of how much we like or dislike a game. We release everyhing we can in accordance with proper scene rules.
The proper crack scene does indeed strive to support personal backups or else it would not be nearly as large as it is. If we only made cracks for the ISO scene we'd be fairly obsolete as the ISO scene makes their own cracks and any ISO release that requires a separate crack would be nuked. Granted, with the latest technologies our work is becoming a more difficult and lengthy process, but have no illusions, everything gets released.
As of this writing there is no crack for Gangland, so stop asking.
There are a lot of bright people working on it and it will be pre'd when it's done. As for the people who say Starforce 3 can't be cracked, you can take this to the grave: every protection now and forever will always be crackable. As long as we hold everything needed for the application to function in our hands, we can strip out or work around the protection. It may be a mind numbingly long and hard task but it can be done.
With new protections making each CD unique however, the prospect of making a standard no CD crack for your originals is questionable, but we will do our best.
There are so many people running around saying it's the end of warez, etc. it is the end of nothing. Don't expect us to crack everything in 5 minutes. We're not dealing with the same protections we have for so many years. We are the innovators in this field, and because we hold the finished media in our hands we have the upper hand. What man makes, man can and will unmake.
