I just got a 52" widescreen and while its got a imput especially for a console the manual says that any accessory with fixed images for extended periods of time can cause them to be permanently imprinted on the picture tube. i think its just like a pc cause like if u leave it on a long time w/o screen saver it will burn a imge in the screen same with a tv say if u paused a game left it on for like all night then it might do this it would be best to trun off the tv in case u ever did pause it that long i know people that will leave there ps2's on like a week stright but me if i dont use it i turn it off.
