dude this is a ps2 forum and not a xbox.
the reason why u have a new menu is because there is a new dashboard called evox it allows you to do alsorts of fasanating crap on ur xbox. ps2 doesnt need all this tosh and will play fine without some crappy new menu if u catch my drift. just boot up a copied game and see if it will work. or even boot a dvd up and sit back and watch it
