OK your really not getting this. What I mean
IS, if at all possable dont use PAL games on a NTSC console if you can...
EVEN if you can patch then to NTSC ....
BECAUSE more often then not you will get the problem you are haveing. Almost always the screen will be a little off with PAL to NTSC patches.

SO if all you can do is patch the PAL game because you cant...or most likely dont want to go get the NTSC version just be happy that the only problem is that the screen is a little off.
