Open system.cnf file with an editor,

it should look something this:

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_207.53;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC


Also, American executables are something like SCUS, SLUS...
Europe ones are like SCES, SLES...
