I took a normal case fan apart not to long ago. The blades were easy to get off. The back popped off and a shaft was held in place by an eclip looking thing. The motor it seems seems to be glued down tight.
As for just putting LEDs in the normal fan, it wouldn’t look as nice as the clear ones. If I can’t change motors maybe I can change the fan blades. I just hope the shafts that the blades are connected to are the same size or else I’m SOL for this idea. Than I can simply add LEDs to the fan.
