What does it boot to, the MS dash? Also, does your xbox boot with the chip off?
All you got to do is put evox onto a disk, and load it up that way. After you do that, then you can just copy the default.xbr and evox.ini ile to the C drive (renaming default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe).
