Bumping is basically making posts to keep a thread to the top of the forum, what you're trying to do. It's egoistic behaviour and frowned upon in ANY form. It's up to the mods to determine what is a bump or not. Usually we might ignore little bumps or one time bumps, but any bigger abuse (like your two consecutive bumps) will be dealt with. Oh and making new threads is an even worse idea. Bumping is no great offense and certainly not the end of the world, but it IS an annoyance that has to be contained to keep the board alive. If everyone started to bump like mad, it would get very tricky to find a thread with a real response between the junk. I hope that clears things up.
