You could but only the DMS HDD Explorer supports disks which are smaller than 40GB - so unless you have a DMS3, you have to use a 40GB+ drive. They also don't have many uses at the moment. Unless you have the Linux kit of course. For example, you have to have a Network Adapter (pretty obvious), You cannot load games to HDD (bar JAP FF XI), You cannot save to HDD and you cannot swap saves from MC to HDD. Nor does it show up in the browser screen, so until someone can crack the bios which Sony puts on their HDD, and allow it to be flashed to a conventional drive, there is pretty much no use to it as of yet
