this will help on loading magic 3.1 & v

lundrant this is how,

Magic 3.1 and Magic V loading procedures: (for version 9 50001 See bottom)


• Open the tray and insert the disk, then tap RESET to load DVDRs (including import) and PS2 (including import) CDs and CDRs.


• To load PS1 CD, CDRs including imports and DVD Movies, insert the disk then press the RESET button until the system enters standby mode (RESET light red in colour). Press and hold the RESET button, until the blue EJECT light illuminates then release after 1 second. The system is now in Sleep Mode.


• To put the modchip out of Sleep Mode, simply flip off the power switch at the rear the machine off for 3 seconds. (Note: Sleep Mode turns the modchip off)


Magic V 50K loading procedures:


• To play all kinds of PS2 games (CD silver/CD-R/DVD Silver/DVD-R/DVD9 All regions), put the PS2 into Standby Mode (red light) and press EJECT to open the disk tray. Insert the game into the disc tray and press EJECT or RESET to close the tray and boot the game.


• To play all kinds of PS1 Games (CD silver/CD-R All regions)and DVD Movies, put the PS2 into Standby Mode Red light). Press and hold EJECT for at least 2 seconds to open the disc tray. Insert the PS1 Game or DVD Movie into the disc tray and press EJECT to close the tray. You can also tap RESET and the PS2 will remain in this mode and boot the game.

• To disable the Modchip Function (Sleep Mode), put the system into Standby Mode (red light). Press and hold EJECT for at least 5 seconds to open the disc tray. Insert the game or DVD Movie into the disc tray and press EJECT to close the tray. You can also tap RESET and the PS2 will remain in Sleep Mode and boot in-region original games and DVD Movies. (The game or DVD Movie must be the same as the PS2 Region). The Magic V 50K Modchip is disabled until it has been put back into Standby Mode and will boot normally.
