This may be similar to how CDRWin makes the images.
In CDRWin when you have a game thats close to 630 or so mb, and make a .bin and .cue file out of it. The .bin file winds up being something like 720mb. Its basically just because of the data that CDRWin needs to burn an image of that sort.
I figure maybe RNM is doing this same sort of thing. While other images made by other recording software may not.
