when putting a v7 insides in a v9 case u will need a hot knife cause theres a black post sticking up in middle of the case that wont let the v7 insides go down upon what id did was cut it off with a hot kinfe and it worked
and dose the silver v9's cost more cause mine was plan ole black unit i didnt care about the color i kind like the quiteness and the ir sensor to use my remote
