Hi,

pardon my ignorance, but whats the difference if i boot using the eject method instead of this reset method? will it damage my set in anyway?

What I did was this and everything boots well (PS2, imported originals & all backups)
1. From Standby, i press eject,
2. tray opens, put in the disc
3. press eject, games load

(PS1 original, backups, & out of region movies)
1. From standby, press & hold eject for 2sec,
2. tray opens, put in the disc
3. press eject, games/movies load

(PS2 pal originals / mod chip off mode)
1. From standby, press & hold eject for 5 sec,
2. tray opens, put in the disc
3. press eject, games load.
