Write in swedish is = skriv and protection is = skydd and the swedish word is "skriv skydd" so I tranlate it to write protection.
To explain what the meaning of "read only" mean in Swedish. Read only is that you can anly read, and do nothing else. Think about a sign, over a bookcase, that says "read only" that's mean you can't wipe you as with pages from the book, you can't trash the book you can't write on the pages of the book. You can only read the book. That's was read only means in Sweden, and I think the same for English. But why don't it label write protection, english is wierd in some cases....
