alrite guys, whats wromg with a non solder modchip

this is getting really confusing

i want to make back ups but have serious probs with finding somewhere local (london england) to do the internal jobby for moi. is it easy enough to do yourself, but then again, i gonnna have the prob of buying all the soldering equipment- there must be an easy option thats works sweeeeeeett?????
